Cedar + Pine Birth Collective

Cedar + Pine Birth Collective is a community-rooted space where birthing people connect with diverse, inclusive, and holistic care.
We offer trauma-informed birth doula support and prenatal yoga, while also serving as a landing place for birthworkers of all kinds—acupuncturists, physical and occupational therapists, chiropractors, mental health professionals, and more. Whether you’re preparing to give birth or support it, Cedar + Pine is here to bridge the gaps, build connection, and center care that’s both grounded and expansive.
We are so happy you are here!
About our founder.
Hey, I’m Britt—mama of two amazing boys, a high schooler and a first grader, and the heart behind Cedar + Pine.
I’m a 500-hour trauma-informed yoga teacher, a DONA-trained birth doula (soon-to-be postpartum doula), and currently pursuing my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. I’ll also be completing my Spinning Babies® certification this August to better support your birth experience.
I believe in the wisdom of both western and eastern medicine, and I’m an advocate for minimal interventions and informed choice. My work is rooted in nervous system awareness, movement, and building true connection—because birth is not just physical, it’s emotional, spiritual, and deeply individual.
Cedar + Pine was born out of a vision to support birthing people and birthworkers in every stage. I’m especially passionate about equity in healthcare and committed to creating change for underserved communities—both in the birth space and beyond.
Whether you’re preparing to birth, heal, or support others—We’re here to walk with you.

Frequently asked questions
-
A doula offers non-medical, heart-centered support throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. That looks like breathwork, comfort techniques, advocacy, education, and holding space for you emotionally and physically — before, during, and after birth.
Think of me as your personal birth anchor. Your medical team focuses on the clinical side. Your doula stays right beside you, tuned into your body language, energy, and voice — reminding you of your power and helping you navigate the waves with clarity and calm.
-
Absolutely, yes. All birthing people and family structures are welcome here. Our care is rooted in radical inclusivity, cultural humility, and honoring your identity and journey — exactly as you are.
-
We’re currently in the process of partnering with Medicaid and other insurers to make doula support more accessible. In the meantime, we can provide superbills for potential reimbursement, and we offer flexible payment plans and community care options.
-
Partners deserve support too. We’re here to help them feel confident, calm, and involved — not sidelined. We offer guidance on how to comfort you during labor, provide education so they feel prepared, and help them navigate intense moments with presence instead of panic. When everyone is supported, the entire birth space feels more grounded.
-
The best time to hire a doula is when you feel called to be held in this journey — whether that’s early in your pregnancy or later on.
Some people reach out right after finding out they’re pregnant, others wait until their third trimester. The truth is, the earlier we connect, the more space we have to build trust, create a plan that feels aligned, and prepare your nervous system and support circle.
But it’s never too late. If you’re nearing birth and just realizing you want someone in your corner, I’ll meet you right where you are. Your need for support is valid at any stage.ption
